2013 535i with 19x8 et38 and 19x9 et38
Hello all. New to the F10 world after my beloved E60 545i Sport was taken too soon.
So I inherited a set of wheels with above spec with Fresh Michelin Pilot A/S-3+ tires in 245/35-19 front and 275/30-19 rear. I have some H&R Sport springs on the way to fix the wheel gap but I did mount them up and they looked pretty good. Does anyone have experience with these offsets and tire sizes? Thanks all. |

No thoughts? Mainly curious about rubbing issues. I guess I'll install the springs and go from there. Sure hope the it tightens up the handling some.

Front wheel: 19" x 8.5", ET 33 Front Tire: 245/40-19 Rear wheel: 19" x 9", ET 44 Rear Tire: 275/35-19. So, first of all, your tires are too small with respect to height. They should be 40 & 35 ratio tires versus the 35 & 30 ratio tires that you have pulled off of your E60. Your proposed tires will result in the speedometer reading too high and you will not have as much rubber between the wheel and the road as stock. Comparing your wheel specifications against the aforementioned stock dimensions: Front wheel: your inner wheel rim will be almost at the same place as stock with respect to the suspension. That is, it will be in the same vertical plane as a stock wheel. Your outer wheel rim will be about 11mm further inbound than the stock F10 wheel. This means that your proposed wheel should clear the suspension and will not rub the fender with the outside of the wheel/tire. Rear wheel: your wheel (both inner and outer rim) will sit 6mm (about 1/4") further outward than stock. As many have indicated on this forum, 12-15mm spacers are workable for stock 351M wheels at the rear, so you should not have any rubbing issues here with your proposed rear wheel. Given the above, your wheels should adequately clear the suspension and brakes and not rub on the fenders. I think you should reconsider your tire choice.
