Question Wiper replacement

Hi,

Do you recommend the wipers should be replaced only with the genuine BMW items (which I imagine are quite expensive), or is there a recommended alternative and cheaper replacement?

My car is an 2012 F10 520d.

On my previous car (Jaguar), I learned from experience that only the OEM wipers from Jaguar worked well, all other replacements I tried, including Bosch, were inferior (what I mean is they'd start leaving streaks much sooner after installation than the OEM ones).

Not sure if it's the same case with BMW though.

Thanks!

I replace the originals with Bosch Aerotwin on mine, they seem OK. Bought a set online for about £23. Tried Halfrauds ones after that, didn't last long at all, went back to Bosch.

Used Bosch aerotwins on the 3 for years (they were the type recommended on wiperblades.co.uk) and I can't fault them.

The original fitment ones on the other hand had an occassional very loud humming vibration that drove me nuts. It happened when the road surface was a certain texture, the wind was in a certain direction and I was doing a certain range of speeds, all which added up to a frequency that made them vibrate which was then amplified through the windscreen...
