Black on Black wheels is amazing!

Nothing is nicer than a black car when its clean imo. Ok, Imola Red aside.

Its just keeping it that way thats a bitch. I cant own a black car ever again..

Same here, more snow coming this week so I won't be detailing any time soon

But car is looking great OP, always love the black out look. I've got some wheels getting powder coated black now so my black out will be close to done as well. Any plans to tint the windows?

yeah im thinking about it, i was never a fan of tinted cars until i need it for my son in the back seat

found some livingsocial deal locally that'll do all windows except windshield 35% for 90

i personally think the car has not alot of contrast, i might be selling the wheels soon to switch to regular 343m wheels in silver ( alloy ), and 20s with low profile 20s are not my favorite lol

black cars are sure harder to clean than some color but this "detail" i did really took less than 30 minutes, went through a regular drive-thru car wash + a few minutes for the vacuum and wipe down afterwards + armor for the tires at home

i wouldn't call it a "bitch" to clean, just depending on how much u like the car, to me cleaning a car has always been a hobby, plus i enjoy the alone time and socal rarely rains ( other than these 2 months lol )

Really nice!
I think im with your thinking though as ive never been a fan of all black and think the silver wheels would look nicer, either way an awesome ride!

Looks good!

The rain has been crazy, in nor cal we made up for 4 yrs of drought, with enough rain in the last 4-6 weeks!!

What products did you use to detail?

How did you wash?

Have you considered doing a ceramic coating and then using a foam cannon/power washer to wash it? on a black car those 2 things would be key in preventing swirl marks.!!

$90 for a complete tint sounds scary to me. With a baby in the back, I'd spend the money on nicer tint. Car looks nice but I'm one of the few that's not a fan of black wheels on black car. Too much of one color without contrast. I went with polished wheels on my carbon black for that reason.

surprisingly with the same person, my friend went there to get his Q50s done and it came out very good, as long as it blocks UV and some what lighting in the back seat im good

i'd much rather pick polished over powdercoat black as well, just a very good deal and i made money selling the plasti dip wheels that i sold and pretty much paying the equal amount of these with much newer tires , i too believe there aren't any contrast , im patiently looking for some wheels and this time i'd go with 19s than 20s , or 20s with no lowprofile tires

i love my jetblack and wouldn't trade the color in as there's a give and take to this. rolling up to a Car and Coffee meet the car just screams look at me after a full detail! careful with those public car washes as that's what really damaged my paint with scratches and swirls.

Also, love the black on black theme you got! not everyone's taste. i was gonna have my wheels painted in a satin black finish with satin black hardware for that black on black look but decided i wanted to have some contrast and went with a satin bronze finish.
