I recently changed my wheels and tires to Forgestar CF5 with Hankook Ventus V12s.


Coming from Goodyear LS2s, what a difference in ride quality and noise.
So much quieter and much2 smoother ride.

Didn't realized it will be that big of a difference... Thanks for all the members here for sharing their experience.

Good to hear. I just ordered a set of Forgestars (F14) and the Hankook V12s.

How long did it take to get your wheels? Also what are the sizes and offsets of your wheels?

Actually, much quicker than the 6 weeks they originally estimated.

I placed my order on 7/6 and they were completed on 7/31 and shipped the next day by **********s (with the tires installed and balanced).

The wheels are 20x9 fronts and 20x10 rears. I didn't specify the offsets since they seemed to know the best for F10 already and they came out perfectly flushed with the fenders.

Forgestar F14 gonna take longer. Usually vendor says 8-10 weeks, but Forgestar's getting all delayed producing it. I ordered mine back in April 27 and still didn't get it.

Im still waiting. I ordered from Sonic MS and they called Forgestar to make sure I could get it by 8/20, but it's just another promise that can be break. Hope to get it soon. I don't think other vendors can get you faster unless they hv in stock. Good luck to order!

I ordered my F14s mid May and I just received them couple of weeks ago. Well worth the wait.

Do you have any shimmy issues with your Forgestars + Hankooks? Roughly how many wheels weights did your shop install on each wheel? I ask because I'm running F14s + V12s and my wheel shop put approx 12-15 wheel weights on each wheel! I've had them rebalanced and they said the that's the proper amount. I also get a slight shimmy at 65mph. Just seeing what your experiences were, thanks!

The shop (bmw dealer) put ~10 wheel weights per wheel and so far so good. I am not noticing any shimmy, but I have only had them for a few days and haven't had much chance to drive them yet.
