okay so i have a NV type grill and no black grill option available.
does plasti dip look just as good as paint with clear coat in black?

I did a grill with Plasti Dip and the Glossifier. It turned out good, but a little less black looking than my Jet Black car. I ended up selling the grill and buying an OEM M5 grill. I would think against most colors other than Jet Black, the Plasti Dip would look fine. If you don't like it, peel it and all you are out is a couple of bucks and a little time.

I used it as a cheaper alternative to a new grill. I am actually quite happy with the result. Its not gloss black the like glossline trim, but it will do me.
