Tire pressure

Guys,

My tire size are 245/35/20 and 285/30/20, what is the safe tire pressure level for it? It's for the F10

According to the info on the sticker of the door jam, it is 38 psi. But if you changed your setup and used completely different wheels and tires, then you may want to check the specs on the tires as well.

Do you know how to check this? Our f10 came with 17 inches tires. So I guess those figures by the door are just for 17 wheels

J, haven't seen you in a while. I have 255-295 20s nittos with a max tire pressure of 50psi and I run em at 38lbs cold. Might gain 4psi after they heat up from driving. Have a digital psi gauge and portable air pump in the trunk and check on the reg and when there are big temp changes from the weather. Hope this helps.

Lol yea ive been busy with my personal project so I haven't done anything on the car.

Thanks for the info. But I found out why, there is a long ass nail in my tire. Got it fix. But question, would the alart go away on it own after driving or I'm suppose to reset it myself?

Anytime you adjust your tire pressure reset the tpms.

Did you reset tpms. Start car, reset tpms on idrive vehicle status, drive for a bit to reset. Should go to green all four tires. Warning comes on with a 3psi or more pressure change.
