grimlock, yes the transmission error wasn't so bad, just a fault code pop up at one time. Honestly I do like 7er after drove for 4 days, the leg room on 7er long version in HK is just awesome. Btw, I like all the standard options included in the 7er, like the soft close for doors. The thing I hate is electronic tailgate is standard on 7er, but optional on my 5er. Even that, I found there's a lock button beside the tailgate button in the trunk only on 7er (not 5er even as an option), which you can press the lock button in the trunk and closed all the doors. That's way convenience when you carry stuffs on both hands imo.

[QUOTE=grimlock;9477706]Don't urge me too much or I might just do it.. decided on eibach prokit for springs, M ARBS front and back, but still no shocks ..

eibach prokit springs? Is it just out? I just heard H&R, RD and AC for springs before.

I'm planning to get the BC coilover, have you guys heard about this brand before? A friend of mine own an alightment shop and he is the distributor of BC coilover. For F10 model, top of the line, that's design for track use. I tried on a Japanese car last week, the feeling is very good, in terms of body roll improvement. It might be little stiff on some bumpy roads here in HK, but I'm fine with that, as the heavier weight on F10, there will be less stiff compare to other Japanese cars

Oh yes, that's standard on 550. Besides, your options are even more than 7er as all we knew. Wondering do you have the lock button in the trunk beside the tailgate switch like 7er does? 1 button or 2 in the trunk?

2 Buttons - one to close, one to lock everything and close.

Weather still bad and I am a bit too tired. But couldn't resist taking some snaps with a DC. Gotta do some proper pix with my NEX5 later

How would you compare the steering and control between the 7 and the 5? Was it a 730? Which do you prefer on which parts if you could pick and choose between the two?

I haven't tried much, I just read other's reports.. So are you looking to drop yours? I am getting more and more tempted now to just try upgrade ARBS first to see the diff..
If you 535 and 550 guys are still complaining about body roll then I may have to choose the hardest option, which is the 550 'M' front and rear ARBS.. since the normal 528 'M' front arb is already the 535 normal one! (535 'M' front arb is 550 normal one, back the same)
Or maybe its not the ARBs, maybe its the drop

Hmm.. so 5 is closer to '6' than a '4' compared to 7 ...
I wonder where the 5GT fits in to this ..

Very complicated. You know how much the M are? Hope they are not more expansive than Bilstein or KW.
