Just put an ipad in there, so much cleaner and cheaper.

Same here. I pad mount from BMW (expensive) or Best Buy (cheap). I also have Phillips, dual screen portable DVD players. 9" screens, plays Blueray disks, etc. Connects to your 12v port and straps on to the headrests. I prefer the portables. Removable and can be mounted on the rear headrests for rear facing seats. Most children just seem to find a way to damage the screens, including mine. I've given up on the battle. Just not worth the extra costs of a custom fit in my opinion. Eventually the ipads will just crush the portable entertainment market. My 2yr old and 4yr old just ignore the DVD screens now.

And the Ipad will entertain not just the kids. My brother in law, an apple geek, got on the back seat one time we were going to dinner and was surprised seeing the ipad. He calls the rear seat first class cabin with amenities!

I paid $2200.00 installed, also you can control independently the radio station, CD player and sattelite radio on the rear, the DVD player is on the center (rear part) of the console and it is independent from the front one!
