520d M Performance Power upgrade

Has anyone modded their f10 520d with a genuine M performance Power Kit ? Its supposed to increase power from 135 kw to 147 kw, 0-100 kms in 7.6 secs.

It costs nearly $3000 fitted in Australia.

Do you thinks its worth it ?

I was told by BMW Aust that they recommend a gearbox upgrade to handle the power increase!!!! Wot? The current tranny can't handle an extra 12kW??? They also recommend a bigger intercooler!!!

FWIW I'm looking at a chipexpress.com (a UK site) piggy back that claims to increase power from stock 135kW/380Nm to a possible 180kW/522Nm - for only £395 plus postage. I chipped my previous 135i with huge results - approx 40% power increase with no problems re tranny or intercooler.

In Taiwan, M kits under US3300, it need to change more big inter-cooler and ECU.....
someone said turbo lag enhance.
