Ordered the F10 Yesterday
On the 550 I ordered the following packages: Sport, Dynamic Handling, Premium 2, Driver Assistance, Cold Weather, and Convenience. I also ordered the sport automatic transmission, HUD, split folding rear seats, active cruise control, integral active steering, smart phone integration. It will be Space Grey Metallic, Venetian Beige Dakota Leather, Dark Wood Trim, and the Anthracite Headliner. If the beige headliner is available in the US, I'll possibly get that in lieu of the Anthracite Headliner. I am doing Euro Delivery with a delivery date of July 13 at the BMW Welt.
I got a great deal, actually better than I had anticipated. Plus no nonsense and silly games. F10 pricing and lease rates will be out by the end of this month according an internal BMW document. If the pricing or rates aren't quite what I am looking for, I'll modify my order at that time.

Congrats. Any ideas of the price of your car yet in US$? More or less.....?
My 535i automatic with some goodies will do about 90k euros....I guess a 550i 'loaded' will cost less in the USA? |

Congratulations! I have another question for you, maybe you should bill me LOL. Can you explain BMW buy rate in regards to leasing? And can you effect that rate by increasing your Security Deposits (MSD's). I've read alot about MSD over the last day on here and I am trying to get my head around that and hoping to get the ED Wholesale Pricing when it comes out.

BMW Buy Rate is the BMW Leasing Rate without a mark-up by the dealer. It is important that this be part of your negotiation strategy. Another critical factor is to make sure that the residual value of a Euro Delivery BMW is based upon US MSRP, not Euro Delivery MSRP. That tip will save you $2,000 plus by itself over the three year life of the lease. I have made numerous posts on European Delivery and Leasing at the Bimmerfest European Delivery Forum. Look for my posts there on the topic between now and 2007. I have leased 5 BMW's combining European Delivery and Leasing. Normal Leasing is abstruse. It is even more abstruse when combined with European Delivery. Substantial savings can be realized by those that take the initiative and do their home work.

Buying LeaseCompare Software is money well spent. That is part of the strategy of mastering the abstruse math and leasing terms. Even if the dealer induces math errors and deceptions, you have no recourse after signing the lease. When signing a lease, you agree to the initial payment and dollars per month. Anything else up to that does not count legally.

Wow .... 550i, thats a h*ll of a choice !!! Congrats ! Wonderful choice of exterior and interior ...
Question: how long does it take for you to get the car from Germany to where you live in the States? I live 1,5 hours drive from the German border, and I can tell you: there is nothing like the German Autobahn (highway) ...

Thank you.
In 2007, my BMW was dropped off with Harms in Munich. 4 weeks and 2 days later I had the car back in Chicago. The avearge time time from drop off back to Chicago is probably 5 to 6 weeks based upon the timing of the shipping connections. Sometimes you get lucky. This time after visiting with relatives in Emsburen, Germany I will drop the car off at the port, Bremerhaven. Hopefully I will beat my record.

Euro Del is the best, I have done it twice, there is nothing like driving a BMW on the roads in Germany, Autobahn or otherwise. This will be my first time at BMW Welt so I am especially excited. The wait for your car gets a bit difficult, but then when you pick it up at your dealer, its like getting the car for the first time, very cool.

The deal is negotiated like I always do: X dollars over Euro Delivery Wholesale on the base car and options.

BMW NA Order Updated
I just checked BMWUSA site, and they have now updated my car to the color I ordered. Every day I have checked it was set to Black, and today it just changed to dark graphite metallic. I called the number, and still no production date, however this is a move in the right direction.
