Black Sapphire 2011 535i (F10) delivered to lucky owner

This is the first customer F10 535i in black sapphire that we have seen. The car belongs to lucky owner TitangrauII530iA, who provides these photos. The F10 looks amazingly sleek in black, particularly with its shadowline (black) window trim.

Very nice indeed. Are those wheels the 236s or the 331s?

looks great, but I hate that when BMW first brings out a new model 5 or 7, they only put small wheels on it. thats a BIG car, it needs BIG wheels. It would look 10x better with some 19s or 20s

I guess 328s (18")...

Mine will look exactly the same but with 19"331s and a bit lowered(M Technik 704)

But I have to wait until the end of may....

Cheers

I have to disagree. The car looks just fine with those wheels. The market has gotten so used to seeing bigger wheels in cars that everyone afterwards complains about is that the ride quality sucks. I'd much rather have a nice set of non runflat 18" tires and rims then the crapy 19" runflat tires.

And I have to disagree on that.

The overall look of such a big car is begging for 19"or bigger. Just for the proportions-sake of it. imo.

Cheers

Just fine? not even close...its a great looking car, especially with the black shadowline trim, but the wheels makes a car IMO and those don't do the car ANY justice.

Everyone wants huge rims so they can roll like a gansta or a ricer. You get tires that thin for a M3 on the track -- not for a sports limo.

Looks much better than the old 5. Headlights are killer and the hood lines are perfect. Rear of the car is also much improved.

Would look much better with:

- Tint
- BIGGER wheels!!
- Exhaust tips need to be a little bigger as well to fill the hole.

The colour makes the car look elegant, and the garage shows that the owner has good taste. As far as the comments on tires, I agree that larger wheels might be more pleasing on a show car. On a car that is meant to be driven on roads in their current condition, the wheels shown in the photos will work much better.

What wheels are on the side of his garage? They kind of look like 331's?

Correct, I do agree that the larger wheels make the car look better. But, for everyday driving (cracks in the road, potholes, etc etc) the normal size wheels 17" to 18" will make driving the car more enjoyable.
