Service stamp?

FYI i was just at my local dealer today, they said they'll can only get the history if its done within the same company! So i.e. mine was done at stratstone i could only get the history from bmws stratstone, BMW park lane won't have it as they don't have a centralised computer system which is completely bollocks!

I called up stratstone they said they'd happy to stamp my service book or provide me with one if i didn't have one but for a cost of course!
