Does anyone know if it's possible to swap the non-sport steering wheel on an F10 LCI 528 xDrive with either the sport wheel or M-sport wheel while reusing the existing airbag?

Basically, swap the wheel with anything that fits and doesn't feel so cheap? I'm sure it can be done with a new airbag but not sure if the base wheel's airbag fits any others now.

Nope…the base airbag does not fit any other wheel

There is 3 types of AIRBAG's on F10 models, Non sport airbag will not fit to any other steering (M pack / Sport / LCI M pack )

Just as a reference :

M sport and regular sport airbags are the same therefore they are compatible with each other. (for the Leather sport and M Sport steering wheels) However they are not compatible with any other steering wheels.

M Sport LCI is the round airbag first seen in the f30 M Sport. It is not compatible with any other wheels.

Non sport is different than the others and is not compatible with any other wheels.
