Fuel it stage 2 lpfp
Just ordered a fuel it stage 2 lpfp for my 535i yesterday. My goal is to be able to run enough e85 to get to 100 octane which is around e60. Ive been running only 4.5 gallons e85 and the rest 93 for the past year no problems. Has anyone else installed the stage 2 on the f10?

Have they tested it to fit on a F10 yet?

I was under the impression that stock lpfp cant keep up with running high amounts of e85 so the hpfp burns up. Therefore upgrading to stage 2 would be the solution until the hpfp is maxed out. Is this correct? And if so now the question is at what point does it max out? Im gonna start at e40 once its installed. Hopefully i get much higher

But most 535 are running up to e40 without upgrading LPFP

Its not going to really cause damage to the HPFP if it isn't supplied a sufficient amount of fuel, and it'll "crash" when it doesn't have the volume it needs resulting in misfires, codes, poor running etc. The stock LPFP on my car seems happy at ~470hp the highest peak I've seen. Alex MissionPerformance and I are still pushing. It is on my upgrade to do list at this point, but I don't see a reason why you would want to upgrade yet unless you've upgraded the turbo. The engine isn't going to be particularly happy at E60 without a tune to run it. Look forward to fowl cold starts and poor cold drivability. |
