Got my car Thursday, I tried to install my front Vorsteiner lip but it doesn't work

I'm pissed.. don't know if there is some parts that I have to remove or it doesn't fit a 2012 model since i didn't get any instruction with it... just a bunch of vorsteiner brochures.

any kind of help would be appreciated, I was told it was only attached with double sided tape but that is not the case since there is at least 4 screws that need to be attached.

Anyone know why the unpainted rear diffuser sometimes looks dark and sometimes gray? Is it the lighting? I'm planning on getting one but prefer the darker unfinished CF look.
