Holy cow!!!

Up here in canada with $9100 down you're at $1362/mo for 36 months. All numbers plus tax of approx 13%.

You are finding better deals now than from 6 months ago because the LCI is coming out soon.

But that is just me.....

I do wish that leasing was a cheap here in Canada as it is in the US.
Damn right, I'm paying just a bit under $1100 per month for a 535 Xi mSport.

Canadian lease rates suck, period.
Wow. I pay less than that for my x5m

No, its never the payment that is important. All the other aspects of the deal are very important, and the payment is a by product of all the other factors. Regardless of purchase or lease.

In general, have you noticed that when you first sit down with a dealership sales person the first thing they ask you is "how much do you want to pay per month"? This is when I usually laugh and get up an walk away and ask for someone who will not insult my intelligence. But most Americans seems to think in term of payments, and once you say I'd like to pay $400 a month, they could sell you anything by playing with any of the other factors. There are many levers to an deal, but payments is not one of them

Once again, with leasing, it's the payment and even more precisely, the total of payments, that matters most.

You can disagree with me, that's ok.

Can you tell us the MSRP and also the negotiated sales price? On the surface this seems like a really really good deal.

I leased the car out of dealer inventory. I think someone cancelled an order but I don't know that for certain. The car was pretty close to what I wanted (which isn't many options).
550xi Carbon Black
MSport
Cold Weather
Sport Auto (paddles)
Something else that cost 500 which I don't care about.

So all-in (w/destination) was ~71.5 and paid ~66.5

I think all the rest of the info is in this thread.

I wasn't really looking for a 5 since I already have one. I was thinking more of a truck; maybe an x5.

Anyway, I wasn't aware that 550's were so loaded up with stuff that you pay for on a lot of other models like say the x5.

I usually wait for cars to come to me rather than hunt. I'm not a good hunter - I'd starve to death in the wild...

looks like BMW doesn't want to play catch up this time. Feb Resv and MF stayed the same as Jan for 5 series but they have added $1500 lease incentive for Feb. Who ever waited are going to be happy. Thanx!

I think I only got $750. Oh, well., its only money lol

I picked the car up last Thursday. I've only driven 140 miles and now it's buried under a foot of snow lol

(M stays in garage)

Should have waited until Feb. but, my girl hooks me up and she needed Jan business.

I get the first phone call on great deals all the time. For instance - I bought a 7 month old M5 for ~30k under invoice and I got 2 years extra warranty for cost. :-$. Go, me!

And, I get unlimited floor mats lmao

One more thing: Don't get distracted by the LCI. Valve tronic is almost un-tune able and you'll pay 5 g's more for it.

They won't discount the '14's like the '13's.

But, I bet you know that already, right?

*edit

You're right! The 1500 is on top of the 750.

The 535 is like 499 a month...lol. BMW better be careful - they're going to piss off the people paying 800.

hmmmm

71k car with 6k down at 10k miles per year @699 per month. That's not a bad deal, but not a drop dead fantastic one.

Mine was 77k with 2k down 12 k per year @926 per month. When you do the math they are pretty close to the same over the total lease term with downs.

I also got my 550 in middle of Jan and didn't get the extra incentive. But i got to use the car for extra 15 days too. I am happy and don't regret a bit for not saving even an extra $1. There will always be better incentives but u can't just wait for it and keep looking. Think of it as purchasing electronics. Prices will always drop everymonth and by that u will never be able to get anything. I enjoy riding my car everyday as i stole it. Just drive hard.

Mine is a 535 so it might not be a direct comparison. But it was 70k with 12k a year for 39 months and 4500 due at signing (not including the 3850 MSDs that I get back) and the payment is $549.
It should arrive next week. But if I don't get the $500 app credit they "locked in" I can rework the numbers using the new residual and MF and make it $537 a month for 36 months at 12k. And no the $12 difference isn't going to change my life but it will piss me off if they say the $500 app credit didn't "lock" as intended. And then in total that's nearly a 1k difference.
Now I already have to think about my next car before I drive this one. Will I want to get the next one in Feb. 2016 or May of 2016?

I was always educated to: buy used (CPO), and lease new. BMW's lose money extremely fast. Some 5 series models can lose $7k-$10k a year in value over 3 years. Just what I know form leasing for the past 7 years of different cars
