Good bye air bag warning stickers

I've always hated the colorful airbag stickers with the picture of the baby shooting goo out of it on every visor of every car I am in. It was so easy to get rid of them in my F10 with rubbing alcohol, a terry towel and 12 minutes total of rubbing and "melting" and peeling them away. Now I don't have to see those stickers that out of the corner of my eye anymore.

I've been debating taking them off but wasn't sure the glue would be easy to get off. Thanks for posting may try this.

It comes out flawless and easily off of cloth ones. The plastic ones, it left a little ghosting but to me it was still better than the full color label. One of my e92 had creme beige cloth visors, it came out perfectly just like my current black cloth ones with no marks from the alcohol at all.

Congratulations! You may never legally sell your car again! Plus, if a passenger is ever injured in your front seat, they automatically take ownership of your pension and 401k.

Just kidding! Sort of.

I guess it's lucky for me that my last 2 e92's that I traded in with the airbag stickers removed were purchased after being certified through BMW by 2 different friends of mine with no airbag stickers. I think the liability now falls on BMW for selling certified cars whose owners wouldn't have any idea that their modern BMWs have any airbags in them at all.

Also it's lucky for me is that I believe in natural selection.

I used nail polish remover, it worked much better than the alcohol which I tried first. Anthracite visors, no ghosting or residue.

Pry off the plastic cover where the visor meets the headliner.
Unscrew the Torx bolt.
Pull out visor slowly, and detach the wire connector.
Lay the visor down sticker-up.
Soak a paper towel with nail polish remover (acetone).
Lay the paper towel over the sticker area.
Let it sit for a minute.
Wipe/peel the disintegrating sticker off.

Looks good mness! I was afraid to try nail polish remover so I am glad it worked and gave the same great results. The alcohol worked very easily for me and I didn't even take mine down, I just did them where they sat connected. So much nicer without those labels!
