M Performance tips installed on 535ix

Thanks for another forum member that is based in Austria, I was able to get my hands on the BMW M Performance tips for my 2012 535ix msport.

I love the look of the 550i rear end with the large rectangular tips. Aside from the power and sounds, I could not justify the extra $12k for a 550 so I made the best of my 535.

I replace the rear msport valance with the one from the 550 plus added the tips. Though they apparently bolt on, I had no luck so I went to my favorite local exhaust place and had them do it. They cut the existing tip and left about 2" and welded the new tips on. End result is exactly what I was looking for

This was not the cheapest mod to do, but the end result was what I wanted.

The weather hasnt been great this winter so I havent had a spotless car worth taking pics of but thought I would share a couple of snaps anyways...

Looks very good - big like. I think i like you chrome ones more than the black ones i have.

Looks good. I personally like the quad look better, but to each his own.

By the way, what is that white stuff on your car in the 2nd picture? I haven't seen that down here in Houston?

I like the 550 tips as well. I don't want people to think I got a M5 and try to race me. Lol

Hey, glad you got the M performance tip. looks good. I am very happy with mine. I agree that it looks better than black crome tips.
