A good lease deal on 2015 550i xDrive??
Hi,
I am hoping some experienced users might share their thoughts on this lease deal. 2015 550i xDrive Cold Weather Package Driver Assistance Plus ACC + Active Driving Assistant Dynamic Handling Package Executive Package MSRP: $79650 Residual: 62% ($49,383) Selling $: $74,440.24 Products (Rim Insurance+): $1795 Money Factor: .00130 36mo/10Kmi $4000 down $942.71/month Please share your thoughts on this deal! My current lease on a 2012 535i xDrive is up in December. My payment is $788/month. The residual value is about $34,500 and I only have 9.5K miles on the car. Surprisingly, the salesman said it would cost $4K to CPO the car if I bought it! I like it, but it lacks some features that I would like and feels a bit underpowered to me. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thank you! |

Why would you put the money down if you can do MSD's?

Seems a bit high to me for a $74k selling price. As the poster above said, I also wouldn't do a down-payment on a lease (ever). Residual of 62% also seems high to me... I'm assuming this is over 36 months?
How many miles did you purchase on your existing 535? With less than 10k miles, you may be better off doing a private party sale than returning it. Have you checked its book value?

That is too high. I have a 2015 535d xi m-sport on order: MSRP was right around 72k. Residual was 61%, they sold me the car at 3K under invoice (i bring them a lot of business), i had a drive event coupon for 1k, usaa discount of 500 bucks, final sales price was right around 61k. Im just putting down fees AND doing the multiple security deposits (7 months times 650, so they hold 4500 that I get back at lease end) 12,000 mile lease. $651/ per month 36 month lease.
