this is an insanely good deal for this sway bar. Free bump for ya! And sorry but as a side note (and if you want to move this to DM that's cool too), but how did you do your upgrade to aftermarket sways coming from a hydraulic setup? This is something I'll have to do sooner or later. Thanks!

My F10 was Rwd so it had electric power steering. This allowed me to drain the ARS pump without effecting any other systems. I started the engine after disconnecting the hydraulic lines at each bar. All of the fluid came out. Then I just removed the bars. I don't think I had to tie the lines out of the way as they were so stiff and sturdy. I don't have the car anymore so I don't remember.

I had already coded VDC and ARS out during my coilover install so that ensured no errors.

X-drive cars use the power steering pump for steering and ARS, so you can't just drain the pump or you will lose power steering too. But for my RWD car it was very simple.

Nice nice! Thank you for the explanation. I too have a RWD and was thinking of doing the above as you did, and for the pump I was thinking of just swapping to the idler pulley setup that is in place of the ARS pump in the non-dynamic drive cars. Did you do that or did you run the pump dry? Thanks again!

I hope you get this sways sold soon. Most of them should be starting to leak by now and that's a very good price on it. BUMP!
