Wrong. they are not. Its just the cops don't bother with you, because its such a small number of people violating the rules. I remember going through an impromptu road block with smog inspection etc in NJ. Guess what? Some guy was with a clear lenses was pulled over for that. Bunch of others too were being read the riot act for failing the sniffer test. Its a big ticket if you tamper with emissions, yet a lot of people do it, and rarely ever get in trouble. When your luck runs out though, they will stick it to you, and you can't do deedly as it is in fact illegal.

Those White Line Tail lights are awesome! So much better then Blacklines. I don't get teh whole black thing....black grilles, black rims,etc...why hide these features in dull black. I would rather accent them and draw attention. I hope this might be an option for E90s in the future.

Anybody know when the tail lights are going to be released in the US?

Def. would have to see in person but thought it looked pretty sick on the FX in silver.
