2012 528 xdrive to 2011 535 rwd??

Hey guys I'm really debating if I should trade in my CPO '12 528 x drive and maybe getting a 2011 535 msport. Hopefully I won't be taking a huge loss and would be maybe a close to even trade? Anybody been in this situation before? Any input appreciated

Are you getting rid of your 2012 just because you want the M Sport, or because you don't like the smaller engine?

More so because I want the bigger engine but I figure that while I'm at it I might as well get an msport as well

It would be a great upgrade on the engine

Engine's better, M Sport is better, non-CPO'd first year models can be scary though depending. How many miles?

Definitely. If I get into the 2011 I would definitely have to get a CPO

From a practical perspective, I wouldn't do it. Yes, the engine is going to give you more power. Yes, the M-sport looks a bit nicer. But is that really worth the trade if it costs you any money whatsoever? I don't know.

That's EXACTLY my dilemma lol. You just summed it up. I mean an extra thousand max I wouldn't mind but any more than that....don't think it's worth it

There you go then... I think you've answered the question. It's worth $1,000 or less to you to make the change. That sounds pretty reasonable to me as it's not breaking the bank, and if the extra benefits are worth $1,000 to you, seems like money well spent. Otherwise, from a purely practical perspective, I'd just hold off, ride this one out, and get the larger engine and M-Sport on the next car.
