Slight loss of power...
One of the problems with a small issue on a car is that not only is it hard to describe to the techs, you sometimes question your own sanity on the issue.
So here it is - I live in a hot country, where the car never really gets cold. Right now it's 24 Centigrade/77 Farenheit. That's as cold as it get's... So I'm noticing that when the car is 'cold', that it's lacking power and also slightly louder. It feels like a slight lack in compression, almost as if there's a hole in the exhaust. Then the car warms up and the thermostat meter rises past 100 and it's fine. BMW can't find anything - they replaced the air filters but it didn't make any difference. This is an F10 with about 75k KM on the clock and I've had the issue for about 6 weeks. Any thoughts? |
