Best run flat tyres for my BMW 520D

Can anybody give advice on the best run flat tyres for my BMW 520D. I do a fair amount of mileage, 44000km in the first year, that's 27500 miles - I am looking at Michelin Primacy 3 ZP

There are great reviews for the pilot sport, but I cant see if they are run flats.

Just curious, why run flats. There are a lot of great tires that ride way smoother and quieter out there. Most ditch run flats after they wear out and love the difference.

I believe you, but my front tyres are in good shape, so I am reluctant to purchase 4 new tyres - the wife is also happier travelling with run flats when she is on her own - We also travel into the city for our business and often work late at night, so we cant afford a blown tyre on our roads as it can be pretty dangerous by night - would love to do it though, especially for the softer ride, and less noise.

I know what you mean. I have lived and/or travelled through unpredictable areas of the world. Dynamics can change very, very rapidly. My vehicles that utilize RFT, always Goodyear. I will buy no other.

Try the Driveguard's. MUCH better than the LS2's.

+1 on the DriveGuards. Lots of good reviews from what I remember when I was looking at swapping tires.
