I am with you... I am on my 6th replaced tire, and 1 bent rim within the last 3 years. My insurance coverage was paid off in the first 6 months of ownership.

I too want to know where you get curb rash repaired for $100. I got quoted $185 just the other day.

Knowing what we know about the Goodyear LS2 RFTs, why does anyone accept these on their new car? And then pony up another $2000 to cover the inevitable bubbles with the insurance? Buyers should be insisting a tire swap or walk at purchase to send the message to BMW that these tires suck. People have been posting about these terrible tires since 2011.

I think the program is a bad investment. The cost of 4 new tires is about the cost of a 3-4 year plan. I know shops that can have rims repaired to flawless condition for about $75. I dont see how spending $1300-1500 on this program is worth it unless your betting on damaging all four wheels and tires. IMO buy one front and rear tire as a spare since BMW is notorious for back ordering anything that needs to be replaced. If you never use the tires, sell them! As far as wheels, dont curb the car like an idiot!

As long as it is a proper wheel/fit for your car and tire is in proper shape and there is a failure,
they will cover it.

I had a 20" rim aftermarket and a Nitto 555 tire replaced, no problem.

There is no clause in the contract that excludes aftermarket, nor states it has to be oem.
What's the name of the company for the tire and rim insurance you have ?
