Can one get a new 5-series at or close to invoice?
I was told that some dealers need to move inventory or meet their allocation minimums so its possible to order a new car at or close to invoice, is that true?
If so, is it possible to order a new 535i or 550i at this price? In addition, can you go for ED and still save 7% on the invoice price? Lastly, if any of the above are true, can anyone recommend a dealer in the South (Midwest or Texas preferably) that can make it possible? Thanks in advance. |

Hello,
You can definitely get a 2013 5 Series at or near invoice. I bought my 550i at $500 over invoice and with the $1500 lease cash available it ended up being $1000 under invoice. This was for an ordered vehicle customized to my liking. I don't have a referral for you in your area but yes these deals can be had Craig

Thanks for the very useful info and confirmation Craig!
Has anyone been able to get the ED discount on a new (ordered) car at or close to invoice? |

I just ordered mine last week for 250 under invoice
You just have to negotiate with the dealer. End of the month is always easier

I was also offered $500 over Euro Delivery invoice. I really wanted to do that but just couldn't work it our with our schedules. ED is the plan for my next BMW - this is my first

Hi!
Varun, Send out emails to all bmw delars in your area and see what they quote. Also edmunds will give you invoice and selling price in your area. Bmwconfig.com will give you invoice. In jan this year i closed on 550ix for $2k under invoice and that was without any lease cash or incentives. In jan bmw didn't have any lease cash. So i just negotiated very hard and got 10% off of msrp. Another idea is visit delars website near you and look under special exclusive lease by them, usually these leases are very well put. Use those numbers to negotiate on the car you like. Thanx |

Are deals just as common on buy vs lease?
I'm trying to determine how much over invoice to start negotiations with on a new 550 custom order. My market is more conservative, less volume (midwest - western michigan). I'd really hate to play one dealer against another but willing to do so if needed (even into the Chicagoland area). Any tips on negotiating a buy? |

I also need some advice, new to the forums. I'm currently negotiating for a 535i xdrive with the M Package and a few other options. The price the dealer is offering is about 10% off msrp after discounts and rebates. I'm also trading in a 2009 X535d for it with 43k miles and they are giving me 31500 for it.
I'm wondering if this is a deal worth following through on or can better be had on a 2013. I know the LCI is coming up but not sure if its worth the difference and my warranty will be up on the X5 if I hold out for it. I also ordered a 2013 335i XDrive from the same dealer and I am waiting for it to arrive next month so I was hoping they would be giving me extra incentive. Any suggestions, recommendations? |

I just picked up a 535i at $2K under invoice, plus another $2K in credits for a total price that was $4K under invoice.
Anybody in Socal should contact Greg Poland at Glendale BMW. |
