Hardwire With Switched Ignition

Does anyone know how I can hardwire something into the fuse box in the passenger glove compartment? I'm looking for an ignition switched fuse, but cant find one - Hoping to avoid having the dealer do this for me..

Thanks

Late, late reply. Search on installing radar detector power to a switched source. There are some fuses in the fuse panel that can be used, I think.

Thanks found a good fused location in the front glove box - Now for the next question - I'm running a cable from the front engine compartment through the firewall to the fuse box - I'm guessing I need to drop the dash under the Steering wheel, but the screws there have a very scary "Airbag Inside" designation - Any thoughts on how to route the wire to the glove fuse box?

I haven't been under there yet, maybe go thru the firewall near the glove box?

Let us know what you are powering up.

So which fuse did you decide to use for this?
