Rich is good to start, at least we know the fuel system can keep up. Easier to cut back on fuel than wish you had more.
Thanks for being the guinea pig. |

Agreed.
Any mention of a price? Will down pipes and upgraded exhaust be required for stage 1?

I sure hope their plans include the older N63s. I'm very interested...

I would imagine the answer is no. Like I said previously they held back significantly, which could indicate the answer behind your question. I would call them and find out, then let everyone know the outcome. Thanks

ALL: I have officially Placed my order for the Gintani tune.
I will be removing my ECU this evening and mailing it to them first thing tomorrow morning. Finger's crossed I get ECU back by Saturday! Please note that I have Custom high flow Badblack Air filters + I run on 93 octane. Other then that my car and Combats are have identical Modifications. I am hoping to yield an additional 20-30Whp from Filters+93 Octane AND the Colder New York Climate =) Fingers cross for BIG POWA! Stay Tuned! |

But I do run 93 btw. No filters though, which im still working on to get a company to make an intake. IF Badblack doesnt figure it out 1st. (Lets end this intake stuff here). Dont want to go offtopic to much.

I was always skeptical, especially with all the bullshit I dealt with over the last year trying to find a company that can tune the car.
But Gintani really is the real deal.. they took the car to the same dyno that we (Terry @ bms ) an I went to, so we know its not one of those things where its their dyno. I should get my car back in a few days and I'll drive it and provide a good answer, I'm not affiliated with Gintani in any way. So I have no reason to back, support or false advertise. I was just the test dummy.

I wish this was a removable flash that you can install and uninstall for service and warranty work. I have an extended warranty I purchased out to 100k. Would suck to void that. For me that's a deal breaker. I'm satisfied with BMS PB and like the fact that I can uninstall it in a minute flat. Would it be possible at some point to have the capability to install and uninstall the flash at home with a laptop? If that's the case I would be interested.

Thank you sir! What a fuckin crock of shit it is to take out the ECu ahaahahhaha. Anyone in tr-state area interested i recommend doing it in warm weather. Should take 30 Min under the right conditions. Took us over an hour and a half to take 1 Ecu out. once we figured out problem (SALT and COLD) we warmed up the plastic with a blow dryer and did the other one in 20 minutes. |
