HOT DAMN!~ first "trip" in my new 550 with ACS upgrades

Just took my first "trip" in my new 550. 4 days in beautiful Berchtesgarden, about 5 hour drive on the German/Austrian border. The 550 was smooooooooooooookin! Got many looks and questions. It drove phenomenal, the ACS suspension and exhaust modifications really made it that much more enjoyable.

The ACS suspension really planted it on the road and gave amazing feedback, something that was seriously missing at high speeds. The exhaust gave that beast of engine some growl. Was in some traffic outside Munich for a bit and the low rumble was getting everyone's attention.

If your looking for such mods, I really give them both a double thumbs up.

She is resting now in the garage after a drive well done where tomorrow she will be pampered in the day spa for a debugging, pedicure and facial.

Must be automotive heaven: a hot 550i, lots of Autobahn and the glorious mountain roads of Bavaria.

Good to hear the ACS springs make it feel planted. Any harshness from the springs on the road trip?

At least you can drive there once in a while if you like.

I'm afraid that after the joys of the autobahn for a week (Euro Delivery coming up in a few weeks), coming back to the speed limits in the US -- especially here in New England -- is going to be torture.
