still no v2 or v3 for xdrive.

I contacted KW Calif. office 2 weeks ago and the guy I spoke to say not even close of coming to production. Still @ the testing stage.

Great write up Brian. You are absolutely correct. KW is the best investment for our F10. More than satisfied with it. I'll been tweeting with the rebound and bump for my V3 and it has so many variations. Fun to play with.

Could not agree more. KW is the best. I haven't messed with settings yet and am about to start doing so. Does the car need a new alignment if I mess with the height and dampening at all? I'm assuming not for dampening; just not sure about height.

Thanks buddy! Yeah, if I can go back in time, I think I would have just forked out the money for the V3's! I am more than satisfied!

I recommend getting an alignment after you install it and mess around with the height until you find the height you are satisfied with. As for dampening, you dont need an alignment when adjusting that.

I had it balanced and aligned when installed; of course. I'm thinking about raising it just slightly to accommodate spacers... So if I do that I should rebalance?

I believe you should, but I personally did not get another alignment after adjusting slightly unless my steering was noticeably off

No prob! Just want other F10 owners to make the right decision when it comes to modding your suspension!

Thanks again for the great information. And great explanation with photos.

I'm assuming the kw work with non active damping right?

Unfortunately my car has that option. Unless there is one with a software change I don't know about.

Great write-up. I wonder how much "better" the V3 is.

I couldn't say it any better Brian! Now the KW has released a full range for the F10 like the V1, V2, and V3 along with the EDC fix
This will give fellow F10 owner options to decide what they want and really need.

Here's my review back in 2010 http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthre...hlight=lacster

Thanks again for the write up Brian !! Always good to have hands on feedback from someone that actually has the product installed on their car.

Love them too...my 550 is slammed, but rides with stock feel---sounds crazy, but true. Tightens up at the limit and feels fantastic in the corners. Enjoy them!!
