BMW Recall- Free Rental Dodge Charger

Is your 5 series impacted by the latest recall? If so, have you already picked up your free loaner/rental car from BMW? Meanwhile, you get to keep your BMW at home so you can still polish her up, but not add miles over the winter! Check out this video explaining how to check if your car is part of the recall and how to get yourself into a free Dodge Charger immediately!

Just checked by my car is under the Recall for the PCV Valve Heater. Hmmmm, wonder how long it will take to get parts for the repair. For the fuel pump recall, I believe it took around 6 months.

I thought they were supposed to provide a loaner for any recall work that takes omore than certain number of hours. Is that correct? It probably depends on the dealership anyway. i am about to take my 2011 535 in for the "in tank fuel pump" recall. But I sure do not want to spend time at the dealership waiting on it.

Loaner only applies if the car needs to stay overnight. Otherwise, completely up to dealer to give you a BMW Loaner, rental or a shuttle ride to where you need to go.

I recently got the Notification Email from BMW indicating my car is included in this recall, however there aren't parts available to fix my car at this time (similar to the Fuel Pump recall). I haven't called the dealer or BMW yet, but I wondering if anyone else got the same letter and has contacted BMW about a solution, or a loaner until parts are available.
