Anybody know if a late 2016 F10 (8-16) has the N63TU2 or do only the 2017's have it?

Can anyone chime in if the CCP will ever expire? For example, say a noob wanted to purchase a 2012 550i which is obviously out of warranty. If the CCP hasn’t been performed yet till this point, is it still valid?

It’s still valid if it hasn’t been done already.

No year F10.
It's in the G30 M550.

any bulletin issued for a car that is not done yet, can be requested years from now. If it is flagged as open for your car, you are entitled to it, regardless if you are the first or the 5th owner.

Class Action Suit?

Does anyone know if the class action suit against BMW and the N63 engine is still ongoing?
I just got a $15,000 repair bill because these engines have faulty designs. They are awful.

Class action settlements, for the end users, are usually equivalent to nothing in major suits and are just huge wins/payouts for the lawyers. I wouldn’t expect anything, the N63 is definitely not as bad as the other engines with faulty designs such as the N20 with timing chains failing at very high quantities below 50k miles, or the S65/S85’s with rod bearing failures due to clearance design, and neither had a recall or court settlement.

I had a $30k repair bill at 102,000 miles on a N63 CPO car and was mad at bmw at first (engine failed). Until, bmw stepped up and covered all parts after the dealer requested a goodwill repair on my behalf.

No different than any other engine
Nothing major here
New battery
New coolant turbo lines
I had sparkplugs changed only because you should change sparkplugs every 4th oil change.
Running strong, Always good to know not many cars pulling next to me on red light stand no Chance in hell of beating me its good feeling.
