Apparently you need updated FRM (footwell) and ZGW (Gateway) Modules along with the custom wiring. I'm local to the Bay Area and have almost acquired all the parts. This month is looking busy but I'd love to tag team this with someone local next month who is also looking to do this.

I don't think this would work with older f10 none LCI... 2011 - 2013 is out of the question. Umnitza F10 LED DTM headlights, cost about $1,700.00 and get it code.

Its been done as per a a few other threads. It was an option AND a retrofit available from BMW on older X5M/X6Ms and 650i/650iGCs. Just needs a new FRM (Possibly ZGW too) and the actual headlights(with all modules) along with the custom wiring. I think we cannot use the custom wiring from the 650i retrofit as it does NOT go all the way to the trunk for that retrofit. For F10 we have to extend to use a particular fuse in the trunk. Im still trying to come up with the harness and once I have the pinouts squared away, I'd be happy to share them here.

Doesn't this end up being about a $5K retrofit?? IIRC, the headlights alone are in the 'hood of $2300 apiece...

Yes it can be expensive, it can be a $3k retrofit if you can get parts off of eBay etc and are able to come up with the harness and modules.
