Cadillac Brembos

Hey guys,

Anyone attempted to fit the Cadillac Brembos on our cars?

Amazon Cadillac Brembo Caliper

I've got a 528 and I don't have an issue with the brake performance but rather the looks. I don't know why it took BMW so long to make some nice looking calipers but the F10 has some pretty ugly looking brakes.

Now since I don't want to spend 3,000$ for brakes only for looks, I was wondering if this could be a cheap way of having something that looks better at the fraction of the cost.

Ever consider just painting the calipers? Here's what my fronts look like now.

Every place I turned to to ask this type of caliper paint service said "dont bother, it wont hold". Salts in winter, temps in summer, in 1 year it will look like crap. And yet here you are with shiny calipers.. Which products did you use to get this result? Looks good. Except for the badge of course. thats a bit too much.

I had mine professionally painted, so I'm not entirely certain which specific paints and products were used. Keep in mind, I live in Los Angeles, where I don't get extreme temperatures or ever have to deal with salt on the roads. So what people tell you may be true where you live.

Also, I was going for the M Performance brake caliper look with the M badge, a little poser I suppose, but I'm not blatantly copying something that's exclusive to an M5. It's pretty subtle with the wheels on. You can get the M Performance calipers from the factory on a lowly 428i/430i

TBH not sure because I had someone do them for me but I believe he used either rustoleum or VHT caliper spray paint. I watched him do it. Two coats of the color and one coat clear.
