wheel lug nut key

I just finished my first ever brake pad change & everything went smooth except for one thing. I forgot to remove the lug nut key from the lug nut. I then drove away with the key still pushed on the lug nut. Of course it must have went flying off somewhere & I am now without a lug nut key. Any ideas on how I can replace the lost key? thanks

if you go to your local dealer they have master keys and they can figure out what you need and order it for you.
when I was getting ready to install my Vorsteiners I found out I had security locks installed from the dealers but no key.
if I remember correctly replacement key is $40

It might be luck of the draw from ebay? How could I know the key would fit the lug nut until I received it? The junk yard sounds like a nightmare of looking but thanks for the suggestions.
