First thread! & a new BMW 528xi owner

Hey everyone,

This is my first thread and would like to ask a couple of questions regarding my new car.

So I got myself a brand new '13 528xi Alpine white - Cinnamon brown and want to know what % tint should I get on it. I live in NYC and would ask this question specifically to those who are also from NYC area. If someone can also post pictures of their car that would be great.

Second, I also want to change the kidney grille to matte black.. would like to know the cheapest and easiest way of doing so. Anyone suggest getting it wrapped? if Yes, would you happen to know the costs of it.??

Third,
I want to purchase new matte black rims also, but I am assuming I can just change the stock rims with the new ones and just use the same tires.. is that a possibility? Assuming if I get a set of 19" rims. If anyone has links that they purchased their rims from you can post it here..

Thanks!!

Welcome and Congrats on the new ride.

You should do some search on bimmerfest and bimmerpost. You will find plenty of posts regarding your first two questions.

As far as your third question goes, I am not sure if I am reading it right. Are you actually asking if you can stretch 17" RFTs (which is what you now have) onto new 19" rims ?

I hope I misunderstood your question.
