AC Shnitzer Springs Installation at Dealer

Hey guys I'm having my dealer install my AC Shnitzer springs on my 550xi and they quoted me a price of $900 for install and alignment. This performance shop I know quoted me $250 with alignment so I was wondering what you guys paid or if anyone of you had your dealer install the springs? I don't want to spend that much for the install but the upside to having the dealer do it is that the warranty would still be valid. What do you guys think?

The AC Schnitzer catalog states that it's a 4.5 hour job IIRC. The catalog is available on the cecwheels site, and where it lists the correct spring for the application, it also gives the installation time for the job.

Hunter, did you have the springs installed by the dealer? Is it true that the cars full warranty is still valid after having the AC Schnitzer springs installed? Do you have before and after pics that you can share? How is the ride compared to before? Has the body roll in the corners been reduced significantly? Thanks in advance for answering all my questions.

Yes I did. Warranty is still valid and no problems. Ill take some pics and post for you but I'm not sure I have a before pic to show you. Other members on here have before and after pics with same setup.
