My 550 with 20" Vertini's

After deliberating for weeks on wheels/tires, I finally pulled the trigger and went for 20" Vertini Concaves with Hankook tires - here's a quick pic from my phone - I'll post better pics shortly - I didn't want to go overboard on forged rims, especially with the pot-holes in Chicago and the Vertinis were at a good price point, and they have the concave look I was after....The Hankooks, after the piece of crud Goodyear runflats are like day and night - just so non dramatic over imperfections on the road - the steering, esp on Sport, feels totally BMW now.
2 more weeks and the ACS springs should be here, although the 20" wheels do fill the wheel well a little better...now thinking about a tint...the bug has bitten...

Big difference
Looks great!
I'm debating a set of similiar concave vs. 5-spoke style wheels myself.
the F10's look sweet either way.

keep us updated with the ACS spring install...

Yup - Magic Concaves - I went 255/35 up front and 285/30 on the rear - I could not find 20" silver Concaves in the US - finally got them from a supplier in Canada - OEMconcept.com - the guy's name is Andrew - very knowledgeable and reliable.

Here's a rear side pic that shows the concavity of the rear wheel...

I hear you but I'm sure Carlos and Andy will agree with me there's no comparison but I can see what you're saying in design.

MORR wheels are top notch can't wait for my set next month!

Oh for sure. I was not comparing build quality, merely design similarities

They are both great looking rims.

Glad you are joining the MORR Family! MS8's or VS8.2's ?

Concave Wheels

The Vertinis were also on my list for wheels, but I ended up buying the 20" Vossen VVSCV2 - 9"s in front and 10.5"s rear. Black, brushed and stainless version as my 535i is white.

When you put the Vossen CV2 on did you get your car lowered? If so which springs did you use?

20" Vossen VVSCV2s

I just had these installed yesterday, so I thought I'd post a few pics although they're taken at night. I'll post some tomorrow taken outside. I'm not happy with the offset of the front rims, so I'm swapping them out for ones that don't stick out so far. How do you think they look?

They look sweet man!! I bet you went with the 20mm offset in the fronts instead of the 35mm. They look very good, but if you are not happy with the aggressive look then you may need to drop the car for they can tuck in.

Very nice.

Looks like Micelin PSS tires, what size, almost looking a little stretched in the rear?
