retrofit backup camera in 550i GT?

Wondering if it is possible to retrofit a backup camera into our new 550i gt? In the past I know there are OEM BMW kits out there for earlier models. Harness camera etc...

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance...

I'll almost bet there is. The reason I say that is my new 528i did not come with Satellite radio. I told my dealer that it was a must. He had installed by the next day when we picked up the car..........

I just spoke to the dealer here (who is lazy and overpriced) and he said that they do not offer a kit for it. Anyone know the true answer, I know he placed me on hold and came back on after not doing any research.

can be done and just done it. using the interface as indicated above.

you need to run your own wires all the way from back to front. you also need to drill a hole to install the camera

get the E90 interface along with the harness plug-n-play so that you don't need to cut wires. if you need help pulling trim apart, just ask...
