cup holder cigarette outlet

is there a way to turn off the cigarette outlet where the cup holders are when the car is on? its because i have my radar plugged in it and when i get out and lock the doors the radar is still on...

The power will turn off in about 10 minutes, and then turn back on when you unlock and open the door. I have my radar detector plugged in in the outlet under the glove box.
