Bad to good.....

This is a great example of turning a negative into a positive. My wife rear ended a truck last month in my 535. very little damage other than to the front bumper.
When I ordered my vehicle there was no m package available. When it came out I was quite dissapointed with not having the M front fender as I think it really ads to the look of the F10.

I was able to replace with an M fender. I had to pay for a couple parts (different fog lights etc) but I now have a car that in my opinion looks better. I also added the side m fenders. I did not do the rear one as given my car colour the m rear defusor is not noticable. I am not really a fan of the rear spoiler either.

Now I just need my wife to wreck the engine and I can put the new M5 engine in when it comes out!!!!

How did your insurance approve a more expensive bumper, let alone any bumper that is not a replacement of the one that was damaged?

Cash payout. You pay the difference.

OP: Pics please?

I think he's talking about the front fascia.

I did this same thing on my previous 330ci. The cost of the M-Tech bumper fascia was about the same as the non-M-tech. I just couldn't re-use my existing fog lights etc. It ended up costing around $350, and it was the best upgrade I did to the car with the exception of the AC Schnitzer wheels.

Yeah, I specifically asked my sales rep if fixing/replacing the M-body kit cost any more than the normal F10, and he wrote back that it didn't.
