Folding power windows when locking

Do we have an answer yet? Can this be reprogrammed by a dealer, or must it be modded/software hacked?

It works in the uk if you hold down the lock button for a few seconds... My friend is BMW engineer and says the stopped it doing it automatically on lock because some people sued because their mirror broke when it snowed.... So now we all have to choose to do it...

It can be coded. My car does this via the fob and comfort access.

Matt01, thanks for the info. I never considered potential damage due to ice/snow. But that does help explain this design decision.
