Has anyone used RaceChip tuning?

I just came to find out about this company and their published performance numbers seems to be impressive (http://www.racechip.com/racechip-pro2/). Any feedback will be appreciated before I order one.

Results do look tempting and impressive, looks to be a piggy like jb though. Lemme know if you decide to order and write up a review.

Yes, they provide the tuning for the F10/F07 N63 based off the quick research I've just assessed.

What's interesting is the torque and hp follow-up. If someone can conclusively prove the performance gains, I'm sure it's a viable upgrade enough to compete with Burger/Dinan/Hartge.

As we all know, torque increase is more demanded to augment low speed accelerations where hp in contrast elevates push in mph to combat drag for those high speed numbers.

Some of us are really just interested in being able to "feel that power" in everyday driving or on the track vs the awareness in ability to speed faster and longer -- which isn't so fun once you encounter law enforcement haha.

OK guys I bit the bullet and ordered mine. I will write up something once I get it and have it installed!
P.S. I already have BMS stage 1 so I will be comparing to that...

which one did you order? the Pro or Ultimate?

I should be talking to them today. I'll see if I can get a group discount if the performance is up to par...

Seeing that the difference between the pro 2 and ultimate is negligible I went with the pro2. The package was shipped today and I should have it by endof day Thursday.. I will post my impression once I have it installed.

So I spoke to Paul at racechip and he was very informative. Basically I could not get an initial discount to be the test person and evaluate performance but did say he would consider a group discount as long as they are all the same version (i.e. pro, ultimate...). Their published numbers are based on the most ideal conditions and using 93 octane so he did say each person may experience different performance gains. What I really wanted is to see if they stand behind their product in case I did not like the gain and wanted to return the product and he did say there is a no question asked on returns as long as you pay 20% restocking fee which I thought was high.

I'm a bit on the fence to pull the trigger on this since I've tried JB4 stage 2 and I was not impressed by it's performance.

Bottom line, for those who are looking to get a group buy, let me know and I'll see how much he's willing to drop the price. I gathered he'll drop it to around $600 for the pro.

20% restocking fee? i wonder if that 20% is actually the profit margin so (s)he profits regardless of your happiness.

good point... He said it's because they have to either sell it as used since it will be partially dirty/oily and/or send it back to Germany to get it refurbished.

I did tell him I don't mind buying a used one as long as it's in good condition but that did not fly since I'm guessing they don't have any returned one's yet.

From what i hear about this it's trash most likely just increases the throttle response and an extra 1psi. It's way overpriced also. just my .02

that's not the heartbreak dyno though

search mustang dyno aka heartbreak dyno or heartbreak dyno. you'll see many references to it across all the forums.

OK guys as promised I just received the package and did the install, Here are my initial impressions:
The package was nicely done but the instructions were lacking. I did receive an email with pictures before the package arrived detailing the spot of the MAP sensor.
As I opened the package I noticed there were two sensor attachment spots on the harness although there is no mention where the second attachment would go. I went ahead and started fiddling around as is my usual. It helped alot having the BMS stage 1 already installed since I thought to myself it has to be one of the other 3 spots, clearly it was not the solenoid attachment so I had only 2 other spots to check. It turned out to be the MAF sensor which is logical. In all honestly I did not contact them about this so I can not blame them other than not including this information in the package.

Once I realized what to do, the installation is literally 10 mins including removing BMS stage 1 that was already installed.

On to my observations:
1. The idling of the car on first ignition no longer goes above 1K as it used to with the BMS when you first start from cold
2. The throttle response is AMAZING! This is one thing I had issues with going with the BMS as there was no lack of power once you hit the pedal but when going off from 0 there is always that little bit of hesitation and this is GONE now
3. The power appears to have also increased along with the responsiveness and this is most notable when going in Normal mode. I almost never stay in normal but now I can almost say that normal mode maybe my default.
4. Torque is definitely up, I can tell since now I see the DCT flashing more often than I used to in the past. I haven't pushed the pedal to the metal yet.
5. Overall I am thrilled with this. I was very skeptical seeing how there are only 2 sensors on the harness and I am pleased to say that it is for sure non inferior to the stage 1 but I haven't had time to toy with it yet to say for sure if it is superior. One thing I can say for sure is responsiveness is DEFINITELY superior and is to say the least STRIKING.

I will write a bit more once I have time to test the limits of this tune later in the week and towards the weekend!
