Taken from the original thread. "I paid the taxes and fees upfront" Seems like the seller is just not trying to recoup what he laid out up front. This might be what it takes to move it. I know folks have been having a hard time getting someone to take over their leases.

Must have gotten this car well below invoice, downpayment or MSD's but nothing noted. And yes getting out of my 550i lease has been a bitch!!

Yes you did get a great deal! But it makes sense if you saved $100/mth by paying the taxes/fees up front. Now it seems normal... Good luck!
