Anyone have picture of this ont here car? I havent seen to many front splitters for my car yet since its new to me but I liek the style of the BMW Performance splitter but dont wanna pay that kinda money for the CF one. Anyone have experience with this splitter from Bav Auto?

Nice find. I just bought a similar unit from another member (originally from Ebay). Fitment is poor so it is at a body shop now and hopefully they can get it to fit a bit better. Wish I saw this before I bought that because Bav Auto is a quality shop so if fitment is off, I am sure returning it won't be an issue. They don't provide info on what this is made of though. The one I bough is a fiberlglass hybrid which sucks, but that is all I could find. Really wanted one in polyurethane.

Spot on yeah Bav Auto is a great shop. Im assuming it may be ABS cause its a flat black but we will see im gonna pull the trigger.

So it's not very rigid not sure if it should be or not, seems decently made. Fitment will require some extra screws maybe to make sure everything is snug and tight everywhere. I'm gonna have it painted before install so more pics to come when I get around to it.

Try to replace the tape with3M. My shop saod that tape isn't 3M, it's just cheap tape. 3M double sides tape will hold better

Are you going with matching color or not? Idk about black car but as you can see it's look so off when I painted it in black lol

Can you let me know if this part can be separated the way the OEM splitter lip can? Can the middle (lip) section be detached from the splitters? Or is this one continuous piece?

The 2 side parts are riveted to the long bottom section so no disassembly.

Bake, I considered doing the same thing which is to have just the side splitters (sans full width lip) just like they did for an E46 M3. Looking at these images, is there anything stopping you drilling out the rivets as the holes wouldn't be visible underneath? If it's not CF then perhaps you could also cut a section and re-rivet to give the underside some strength as you will note it's hollow.

BTW, I wasn't aware the OEM product could be separated? Great if it can be.

Great minds think alike. Yes the OEM product can be separated, but haven't seen anyone only rocking the splitter portion yet. I actually already have a rep M Performance spoiler/lip but fitment isn't that great and I just haven't had time to leave my car with a shop that can modify if for me. Will probably end up selling it cheap to someone that has the time to have a shop spend some time getting it to fit better.

When I install mine at LTMW they said it can be detach. Mine was aftermarket. I was thinking about it, it would be nice but because the middle underneath part of my bumper has some ripple part that I need to cover so I keep everything of the lip the way it is. Or else I would just do the splitter

Just push on haven't had time to install yet but looks good IMO.
