will it fit a 535? M5 black Megan quad exhaust

hey guys, i know the M5 exhaust will fit the 550's but how much more work is involved trying to fit this on a 535? i know pipe diameter is 2.5 for the 535 and i believe for the M5/550 is 3"? also, i've read a couple things on this but is it true the M5 mufflers are a bit smaller and i would end up having a higher exhaust note than a deeper tone? i'll do more research on this as i'm at work right now but i figure i'd post this to see if you guys could chime in! seriously if this works i'll do this instead of going with the Armytrix.

Note sure about the exhaust note, but it can work on a 535. A few folks have successfully installed OEM M5 mufflers on the 535

i found one...LACSTER did the conversion and i remember seeing this awhile back. i might do this instead of dropping $2g's on the Armytrix...i mean, how bad do i want the EV control?

Gtmassive75 had M5 Competition mufflers on his 535xi. It has been uninstalled and he no longer has the car, but it sounded sweet.

so pretty much from what i've read if i use the M5 muffler it's just an axle back setup anyways. i would have to have a muffler shop put the coupler or transducer from the 2.5" pipe to 3". i'm guessing these Megan's don't have a flap valve to worry about? well, got some time to think about this. still going back and forth on the 4" tips vs the 3.5" tips. i kinda like how that all black would look on my DTM diffuser!

I used the m6 Megan supremo on my 550i and it fit so this will definitely fit. The 4inch tips are perfect 3.5 are a little small for this car and the diffuser. I have the vorsteiner diffuser.

Awesome! How do you like the sound? Deeper, raspy, higher tone? I heard Lacster's on the video he posted but I believe he had DP's but I won't? Any drone?

It's really quiet even with my resonators removed. But I put downpipes on it and now it's too loud lol. But I love it. You won't have any drone with at least one set of resonators and very little with all of them removed. Not sure sure how many the 535 has. I use to have magnaflows on my 545i and that had lots of drone. Very minimal with the Megan. It's actually a quality piece for the price I was very impressed.

Also you can get the m6 version for like 400 on eBay or at least that's why I paid 2 months ago. Here is the place I bought it from 626-444-1108 give them a call and see what kind of deal they can do for you. They are a eBay store but will give you a better price if you call direct.

Will give them a call...is yours also quad 4" tips black? Nvm I found them! My only concern was how the tips pipes curve out a bit...any issues when the muffler we're installed? Did it hit the diffuser? Last, we're you able to use the exhaust hangers on the Megan's or did they have to redo them? Any pictures on your car? Also im wondering whats the difference between Megan's M5/M6 Supremo exhaust? Sorry for the million questions! Appreciate it!

I agree with the 4" tips with that diffuser... it fits perfect! I was looking at the difference between the M6/M5 and I think the only difference is the hanger placement. I'm going with the all black! But definitely send me the clip
