I attended this event 1 week ago, test drove several cars, and I have still not received an email yet with my $1K coupon. Has anyone else had this experience?

when does this end? is this applicable to a pending lease?

each dealership has a different date assigned to it for the drive event. call your local dealers to find out

Update: Well I still haven't gotten my email so I will be contacting the dealership and see what's the deal.

On a side note, I recieved another Team USA Drive event invitation for another dealership.

I was expecting a lengthy delay based on this thread but was pleasantly surprised to see my $1000 email today - attended the event on the 28th, late afternoon.

Odd they are so inconsistent.

2 day turn around is really nice--good to hear it actually worked. i called my CA today and asked him to find out what is going on. he was borderline helpful in saying that he would look into it and get back to me early next week. not too happy about this.

google bmw drive team for the USA Olympic and see when this event is at your dealership and register online and go attend the comparison event and don't forget to complete the survey and collect cool BMW USA caps and after one week e-mail with a code to redeem 1000 dollars.

thats cool... i wasnt aware of it. I will go and register. There's one offered on July 14th.

The only problem is I'm negotiating a deal tomorrow... is there someone who is not going to use their coupon and would let me use it?

Don't officially order the car until you do the drive event. To get the $1000 credit your purchase has to be after the drive event.

Price Negotiated $51,000 (includes Nav credit)

Dealer agreed to take off $1000 for BMW drive event that i'll be attending this friday so we placed the order and put $1000 down

I'd be extremely satisfied at $50k+ttyl. Its more than 11% discount on MSRP

what you guys think? and yes, i got it in writing from him...
