F10 heated seat buttons question.

In my F10 the heated seat controls are on the side if the seat. If I swap out the climate control hub with one that has the heated seat buttons on it, will those buttons work?

No F10 has heated seat buttons on the side of the seat. I think you're confusing something with something else.

If there are currently no heated seat buttons on your climate control panel...then that means the wiring harness to that panel is not wired for the heated seats. And the control module may be totally different.

Looks like an aftermarket install. That button is not in the BMW parts database for the f10.
And there’s no hole or blank cover in the seat’s trim piece for the button in your seat…so a hole had to be drilled into the trim to install the button. Is there one on the passenger side, too?

Can you find that button in your owners manual and does it have 3 heating stages? If you don’t have a paperback version of the owners manual, there’s a digital version embedded in iDrive.

Below is an example of an aftermarket heated seat install…note how similar the button is:

Yes the heated function does work on both driver and passenger seats. The user manual does not show the buttons, so looks like its a aftermarket mod.

Thanks for the update. The positive take away is...you still have heated seats...which is better than not having them...especially on cold/chilly days.
