Help with Ista D - Zero Faults
I have Bimmerlink and just got Ista + because BL was having problems clearing all the codes. Currently BL shows 67 fault codes and Ista is showing none. Is there a problem with the software? What am I doing wrong?

It is not uncommon for discrepancies to occur between fault code readings from different diagnostic tools such as Bimmerlink and ISTA+. Although Bimmerlink is a powerful BMW diagnostic application, discrepancies can sometimes occur. Differences in fault code readings can be due to the specific modules accessed by each instrument or possible compatibility issues. To minimize any software discrepancies, make sure that both instruments are fully updated to the latest versions. Also, to get a clearer picture of the problems, check the trouble codes by comparing them to the BMW factory codes. If ISTA+ doesn't show any fault codes, it may be a more complete overview, but you should double-check specific modules to make sure the readings are accurate. If the problem persists, support should be sought from the software vendors, which will help determine if it is a software glitch or indeed a discrepancy in the fault code readings.
