You're like a wide-eyed kid under the Christmas Tree . What are you going to fill your days with once you've finished modding?

So I'll start with the rears:

Before:

After:

Front coilovers installed:

Before:

After:

Here's the overall shots:

So total install time 5.30 hrs with the help of my buddy!
So after the install I was really nervous to see how the car was going to handle? Whether it was going to be too firm, or to soft, or just feel like I'm riding on bricks! So my buddy who helped me went out for the test drive. WOW! the car felt pretty sweet! It was between OEM and a Tad firm. Over bumps it was like butter. When I punched it I did not feel the back end squat it felt like the KW's was well balanced all around. The funny part is the car did not feel lowered? When I drove my Integra slammed you can totally tell you we're dropped! With the 5er it just felt like I was still sitting stock. Weird? Anyhow, I know it still needs time to settle but the car just handles great! no rubbing whatsoever. I wanted on the last few photos to show you how aggressive the wheels are and the concavity with no spacers.

Tell me guys what you think...honest opinions! If it's too low or how much I should bring it back up?

Looks really good.... BUT.... Shouldn't the tires be a bit wider? At least as wide as the wheel?

I love that rear end and think it looks perfect Gene. The drop at the front is the right height too. I'd be tempted to try a 5mm spacer just to fill the front arches a tad more but I'm mindful you have Tikore Lugs though.

By the way, what are your offsets on those rims? And knowing you were getting KW's, did the shocks influence your decision on the offsets at all?

looks sweet!

good job, especially as it was a DIY - saved a few $$$ there.

I would say you need a spacer on the front for a real flush fit though or new wider tyres.

what are your wheel / tyre spec?

Not sure ezaircon4jc how much wider tires you want me to run?

Thanks Jet! For the fronts I'm gonna let things settle a bit and decide if I wanna add a 5mm spacer? But right now I'm able to turn the wheel without rubbing so I would have to take a look underneath and see if 5mm would clear? But right now I think I'm fine but we'll see

Yes! When I first ordered my wheels they had asked what kind of lowering mods did I have in mind? So I had mentioned that I planned on getting the KWv1's and he knowingly knew how low this could go but I told him I wanted the wheels to poke a bit. So that's where he decided what offsets I should go with. He said the fronts will be pretty close to poke but he wanted to make sure I didn't run into any turning issues. The rears came out perfect if you ask me! the wife loves the new look!

Thanks Hasser! I take pride in trying to do most of my installs and modifications myself! I thought about doing a DIY but didn't have the time as it would have taken longer. I saved $850 bucks as the dealership wanted $125 hr for 6 hours needed. I posted the wheel specs above

Also, shout out to BMW doubles for the info and video for the rear shock install

It looks great man! Nice job the install is super easy for those of us who are mechanically inclined. I feel sorry for guys who can't work on thier own cars, they spend more money and don't get the "I did it my self" satisfaction. When are putting on the rear Msport bumper and carbon diffuser?
